What are CEREC® one-visit crowns?
CEREC® crowns are a technologically advanced method of reconstructing a tooth. The CEREC® machine crafts your crown in the office while you are there. After the tooth is anesthetized, a ceramic block is placed into the mouth where the tooth is missing. The block is then scanned by the CEREC® machine to capture a 3D image of your teeth. That image is used to design a porcelain crown that exactly matches your natural teeth.
